An idea....

by seahawk10 » 21 Feb 2007 20:25

I like the idea of each player having their own song played after they score. They do this here in the States, when Shaun Alexander scores a TD they play 'Sweet Home Alabama' since he played college ball at Alabama. Have the team do some research and pick a song for each player that suits them.

Which song for which player?

by seahawk10 » 21 Feb 2007 21:21

How about Philadelphia Freedom for Bobby Convey, since he was born in Philly?

Anyone else care to join in and peg a song for your favorite Royal?

Maybe it was just the euphoria of the goals last night but the club didn't play Tom Hark, is this just FA cup policy (i went to the darilington match but can't remeber) or perhaps a sign of changing times. but it definately wasn't needed to create atmosphere.

I think the BTB team must have decided, quite rightly, that after the start we had TH wasn't appropriate. I'm guessing if Boris' effort had gone in we'd still be singing it now. Definitel not cup rules as it was played at the Burnley game.

I was going to add that I wouldn't be holding my breath, but I thought someone would have a go at me for not being a loyal royal!

Made my night. I think my letters, strongly worded emails and shouting at a club official recently may just have done the trick.

Truly fantastic to enjoy a goal without the horrendous music.

Thank you RFC and the odious BTB kn0bheads.

yes, it was a life enhancing experience

Seriously, given the amount of Man U fans in the North Stand.......it was hard to gauge....but the celebrations still happened

Rhys The Royal It could be so much worse... Bolton's "I feel good" has GOT to be the worst.
I'll see your "I feel good" and raise you Blackburn's "(What have you done today to make you feel) Proud"

Not all of us are down on the Soul Man. 8) All it really takes is a goal and some good form and people will go from hating him to loving him (or at least be willing to give him another chance). But with the FA Cup games done it might take an injury for him to get back in there.

Good song suggestion, too bad the club won't give it a go.
