A nice relaxed game would be nice, as I am watching from an Arsenal season ticket holder's seat, and I am not good at sitting quietly at football matches with an emotionless faces. However I have practised my sitting on my hands when we score, but not my stand up and politely clap when they do, as I am optomistic

royals pete Yeah, looks a good side BUT we all know waht happens when a lot of players are put together without the 'team' play recently. Could be a lot of individuals out there on Saturday.

I still think the odds for Reading are VERY generous. Might not come off but I reckon we could be in for a smashing game.

Generous? Really?

i started a thread before the game at OT asking if people fancied our chances, pointing out this stat:

In the last 200 odd fixtures where a big 4 team has been at home to a non big 4 team, the away team has won only twice. Both last season, West Ham at Highbury and Blackburn at OT.

Based on that, i'd say the 8/1 being offered is shocking value.

Same, the only punt worth taking in this game for me is any time goal scorer.

theres loads of good bets out there, scorecasts on 0-1,1-1,0-2, 2-2, 2-1, 1-2 for lita and kitson all give great odds, and a half decent chance of being correct

If you are getting anything less than 100-1 on a correct scoreline and first scorer then you are being done. Thing about it, the odds on that actually happening are massive. So many external factors you can't account for. At least with anytime scorer you have an entire 90 minutes for one person to score (substitutions allowing), Lita has pocketed me some decent money at just over 4's against Birmingham in the Cup

Some good banter on this and thanks Tony for your stats. I fully appreciate those figures and don't normally go anywhere near opposing top fout teams. What I am saying is that IF Reading are to break one of the top four, then this Saturday looks an ideal time with the injuries, Champions Lge and bans affecting Arsenal.
Getting 8/1 SEEMED ok bearing in mind you have to get someone else to lay that figure. And they're clearly not wanting too (now only 6/1 Betfair ) with Readings potential. Look for a good clean game with goals and entertainment and COME ON URZZZZ.

Forget their injuries. We are without Sonko and Convey. Arsenal's style in particular suits Bobby's game. Shame that injuries are making US play THEM at a disadvantage.

They may have alot of injuries but if you look at the class and talent they have on the bench, it's unbelievable, to be honest tomorrow i just hope that we don't get hammered.

For those it might interest:

ARSENAL VS READING MATCH AT EMIRATES STADIUM: STARTS AT 3PM: On Saturday 3 March, HOLLOWAY ROAD STATION is exit only from approximately 1330. All WESTBOUND trains (towards Central London) will stop and customers will be able to exit the station unless overcrowding occurs. From approximately 1400, no EASTBOUND trains (from Central London) will stop at the station. At around 1500, the station will fully reopen for entry and exit. From 1630, until crowds have sufficiently dispersed, the station will be exit only, but all westbound and eastbound trains will stop.
