Royal Fleet West Stand Man Perhaps the first step should be to get the reserves to play on the top quality pitch at the training ground? ---- and they bring in little or no income when they are at home. LI, however, do contribute to the overall income in a positive way.
Last reserve game had as many people there as many egg chasing games. c6000
Most LI games have 8/9000 there and at least twice a season there is around £20k there. Each paying a minimum of £20. Of which we see a decent percentage I believe as well as a slice of all food/drink sold.
Reserve games - we've had one crowd of 6,000 and the rest have been about 1000. Some paying £3, a lot getting in free. The club probably makes a loss on these games when all costs are taken in.
If the pitch is a big worry then we need to move the reserves away again. Perhaps one options is throwing a bit of money in Reading Town's direction and improving the quality of the surface/facilities there and host games there. Keeps the reserves in town and near to where Elm Park was.
