I agree with most of what has been written,that Lehmann is a twat and Hunty is almost as bad.
On the footballing front I did notice that Lehmann (when not wanting to fight his own players) shouted at players to cover certain positions (in particular Djourou) and he timed a challenge brilliantly down our end when he raced out wide right to cover.
He is obviously a presence and I can see why Wenger brought him to the club.
One small point and it's the old one about it not being o.k to have a go at black players in a racist way anymore (and rightly so) but o.k to have a go racially at a German,a Spaniard,a Frenchman,a Portuguese,an Australian,an American or a Korean.
Funny mixed up old world.

What I found odd, was the bloke behind me giving it large to Arsenal as a "bunch of f*cking foreigners" followed by the familiar Engerland, Engerland etc.

What he did might have been almost as bad, but what he did was in direct retaliation for Lehmann being a prick and his totally uncalled for finger wagging before. Hunty is a top lad otherwise.

I agree with your point about racism, to a degree. I agree Lehmann might be a tw*t but it's not fair to have a go at gerries as a result. Re: attacking blacks - no I'm sorry I don't think it's a direct comparison. Firstly blacks are not a race - they happen to share a phenotype with more variability between them than between us white europeans (they are not a homogenous bunch with a single race!). But mainly black people have been, and still are, hugely oppressed throughout history, thanks to us and any anti-black sentiments run much deeper and mix in with this horrific oppression. Something which we can't juts brush under the carpet and forget and equate to simple annoying name calling of someone based on their nationality. We discussed this after Kitson opened his big mouth months back and don't need to discuss it again. But you're right ideally we won't resort to any racist terms and will just attack Lehmann for being an idiot, not because he happens to be German.
