That endless Dave, that sacred Dave you gave me.
Im thinking of the Dave
I wont forget a single goal, believe me.

I bless the ginge,

Though Forster's gone
Dave's with us every single day, believe me.

Dave I'll remember all my life,
Dave always sees the wrong from right.
He will not dive
But then we knew that very soon - an injury.
But its all right
Now he's not frightened of these fouls, believe me.

Good work! The original was great and from one of Britians finest.

Having said that, has anyone ever seen the two blind lads singing this in Winchester city centre? Probably the best buskers I've ever heard.

missing the Ray Davies reference I at first tried fitting it to Thank You for the Music by Abba, which worked for about a line, but with a little rewrite....
