Whistle
jetsetwilly Going to be a problem, limited number of upgrades to children's season tickets for evening games and the limit was up with the United Replay. Lots of potential empty seats....

They must change that though, surely?

You would like to think they'll make an exception.... Let's see if the club let common sense prevail.

The_Cat Been moved to a monday 20:00 kick off according to BBC, must be on SKY.

that is awesome news!!!....simply because my wife does a college course on saturdays and every match i have to get my mum to baby sit my daughter...however this is problematic as she too works saturday.....good news indeed, this confirms my ability to attend this match.......might have to slip out of my art class early tho...SHAME!

I oxf*rd hate Monday night football. I'm going to have to take 2 days holiday I can't afford to use to see this one now.

I wonder if any Newcastle fans have already booked discount airline or train tickets. They may be Geordies but they deserve better than being screwed around by Sky.

Bloody Sky, considering they said in the weekend program that they won't be back down to Reading as they will be following the relegation and title chases why the hell are they coming down to us!!!!

Really pissed off with this, as I have got plans for Monday!!!

Can only assume they're hedging their bets and are expecting at least one of us to be challenging for a UEFA cup spot.

Either that or they think Newcastle are about to go on an awful run and be dragged in to the relegation battle.

Perhaps SKY just want the game so they can cover Michael Owen's return to the Newcastle starting line up.

Or it could be to get our quota in for the season. Doesn't every team have to be on a minimum of eight times on Sky Sports and four times on PremPlus?

Interesting. I see from my fixture list that we have been on PremPlus 3 times (Man Utd, Chelsea and Villa, all at home) and will have been on Sky Sports 8 times by then.

I can't remember the exact quotas, but every team must be on both channels a minimum amount of times as per the TV agreement.

I think that's true.

No idea what the quotas are, mind.
