I was there that day in the Tranmere fans - what a brilliant day! At the time was 15 and remember being really quiet every time we scored as was well afraid some wirral nut would batter me!

That Nogan goal was wonderful!

Where you there with any friends that day?

Just I was in the home end and also 15...

Yeah I was. I used to live in Lancaster and we used to go to all the games up there. Went to Wolves away, Oldham, Sheff United, Tranmere, Burnley, Stoke, Bolton. What a great season - apart from the finale of course...

And you also went to Ewood park once or twice?

Those were the days!

Indeed they were - still have a thing against Blackburn - not as strong as I did back then though!

 You have got to be joking. Much as I loved that '95 side and the rollercoaster ride they gave us, they would be slaughtered by the current line-up. Archie had a couple of very good seasons then struggled to score against average opposition in a level below the Prem before sloping off to the pit of mediocrity that is the SPL. Lita has scored regularly in the Prem and for the u/21s.

Still, great to see that classic 2nd goal.

Lita's such a better athlete for a start.

But, for some reason, I like that side more.

It's funny I think I do too. We play great football now but we were really exciting then. Take Ooh ahh Scott Taylor for example. What an exciting player he was for a couple of seasons! I followed his progress after he left that year and it was such a shame that he had such problems with injuries - deserved to play regularly in the prem in my opinion. Wonder what he's doing now?
