kitsons_hair Town was fanastic that night

It really was. Probably the only good night out I've had in Reading. The atmosphere in town was just brilliant, even for days after it seemed special. There was something indescribable about that day that I'll never forget.

That afternoon I took the kids for a walk in the rain, hitting the GPRS at regular intervals and receiving texts from a friend to reassure each other we had made the right decision not to go.
When Doyle scored there was not a moment of pain of not being there, just a glow that we were Premier League.
Treated myself to a whole bottle of London Pride that evening and went to bed early.

Cracking day out, a few beers in the hob nob tavern (aka Counting house) followed by a pre match balti pie. It's a pity they wouldn't let us back into the Counting House after the match.

Just read the programme and all of the sunday papers from the 26th march 2006. Its still feels like a bloody drea. Now im going to watch the DVD  Keep calling my dad a plastic for going to the St Patricks celebration day with the Irish and i E-Mailed the soccer AM team and they put shame onto him by putting a pic of him with a 3 leaf clover and taunting him with 'shame on you'.

Will never forget that day and show for they rest of my life and i can not believe it was over a year ago now 8)
