Stranded I predict that we will play 38 league games.
32 off which will be against the same opposition as 32 of our games this. Six will be against promoted teams.
We will win some, lose some and possibly draw some. At the end of 38 games we will have some points. We will finish in a position in the league where those with more points are above us and those with less below.
We will score some goals, unfortunately the opposition will to.
We will get knocked out of the cups at some stage, unless we win all our games in which case we will get a trophy. Someone will polish it to keep it shiny. Blue ribbons will be attached.
Steve Coppell will smile on 25th February 2008, people will be amazed.

Hahnemann's Hairdresser I have low expectations for next season unless we sign a creative, goal scoring centre midfielder. Our play is heavily reliant on the wingers, primarily Glen Little. Portsmouth sussed this and had two men on Little as soon as it looked like someone was going to pass to him. With Little marked out of the game and Hunt unable to get the better of Johnson we were ineffective going forward. An attacking centre mid could exploit the space left when Little is double marked.
I fear that other teams will also figure this out next season and although we will stay up, without a plan B we will struggle.
