If we win I can honestly say it would be my personal favourite moment of being a Reading fan

I'm going with 2-0 Liverpool, probably a Crouch brace, because I took him out of my fantasy team...

I'm going for 3-1 Liverpool.

Bellamy, Riise and Kuyt for 'Pool and Doyle for us.

2-1 reading

a lacklustre and tired looking liverpool performance

doyle 1, plus a seol wonderstrike winner in the last minute
sparking joyous celebrations at the madejski, and in seol-korea

fed, halford, ivar, duberry, shorey
oster, sidwell, gunnarson, hunt
doyle lita

seol, kitson, harper, bikey on the bench

Having watched them do us at Anfield and with their recent form, I don't expect anything out of this game.

If we keep the goal difference down to two, I think we will be doing OK.

Royals 0 Liverpool 3

I can see him resting a few. I would reckon on Crouch and Bellamy up front, Pennant on the right with Gonzalez on the left, Alonso and either Zenden or Mascherano in the middle. Hyypia and Carra or Agger with Arbeloa and Riise.

If this is the case then we have a sniff as we are at home but we must take an early chance and get into them. I don't want to see the God awful tactics we played at Anfield that allowed players like Hyypia to stroll into our half and pass it to whoever he wanted. Attack them, sneak a 1-1

I fully expect us to get beat but will hopefully put in a better effort than PSV did

2-1 maybe?

If they weren't 3-0 up on PSV, I'd agree. I can see a fairly full strength team on Saturday with him resting a few for the 2nd leg. They want to finish 3rd after all.

Anyway 2-1 Liverpool.

If we give Liverpool as much time and space with the ball as we afforded Tottenham we will get absolutely battered. There is no way Crouch Bellamy and Kuyt will be as profligate in front of goal.

0-4 Liverpool

I can see SSC starting Doyle behind Lita in a sort of 4-4-1-1 to beef up the midfield, maybe with Gunnarsson getting a start at Harper's expense.

1-1

I'd like Gunnarsson to start. We won't sit back and lap it up like PSV and catch the hubcapfeeves sleeping.

2-1 Royals with Gerrard getting a late one for them.

Having gained part of my passion for football watching Liverpool on TV win most things in the 70s and 80s this is the game I've been most looking forward to,just a shame they've hit top form.

I'm sure they'll rest a couple of players but it's going to be a strong reds line up. I think Gerrard has started every game this season, Carragher always seems to play and Kyutt is suspended for the euro game so will probably play.

All that said, Reading 2 Liverpool 1.
