Must admit when i see it on TV it looks ghastly, really amateurish.

The balck one wasn't the best and in the heat at Ipswich, possibly the worst kit ever!

I always liked the sky blue one, and also the yellow one from 2001, only cos we looked like the club from Devon though!!

My favourite away kit is from the 97/98 season though, cherry red shirt. 8)

My favourite was the orange and navy one for the 2000/2001 season, can't find a pic of it anywhere though.

They change kits to sell shirts, If the away shirt was similar to the current one then even the fans with cash to waste are going to think twice.

I would guess at the current away shirt with the red and yellow swapped. This will give Watford fans the illusion they"re still in the prem. current shirt can be for Europe!

I'd personly like us to have an orange away shirt as I can't recall ever seeing one in the prem and the last one we had looked good.

Surely the second kit will not have blue in it as that is the colour most likely to force us to have to change

How exciting is it to get another new shiny away kit for ONE season's use?!!
Next summer we will have new home and AWAY kit, and this nice new shiny away kit will become the 3rd choice kit and rarely be seen!
I understand the concept of the club being able to release at least one new strip each summer, but no way do you get your monies worth out of Reading FC!

Therte's a nice simplke answer to that.

If you don't think you're getting your money's worth by buying every shirt - DON'T BUY THEM!!!!!!

I seem to remember a link to a "history of Reading shirt colours" page somewhere. Anyone have it?

In a related matter, does anyone have a picture of the yellow and blue away strip. Goggle is useless.

Agreed, but green and something. Haven't seen us play in green before.
