We've played better this season and not taking anything, so I suppose they go hand in hand and even themselves out. We've stopped the non winning rot and now I expect SC to field his strongest 11 possible (including Sidwell) next week at Bolton.

Royal Lady Listening to Tim on Radio Berks after the game, you'd think we'd just been thrashed 6-0. Him and other people complaining about entertainment and value for money....I thought played all right, personally.

I listened to Radio Berks for the first time today....that bloke is shocking. I'm surprised Gooding put up with the shite he was spouting.

Nice to see a win, thought Bryn had a smashing game and we hardly missed Sidwell to be honest. Was pleased with Seol and Hunty in the first half. Ivar was immaculate again and MOTM....again.

I've decided not to mention the numerous negatives - just grateful for the win.

Agreed. To think that, first, we won, second we are 8th in our first season in the prem and third, he gets PAID to watch it, I don't see how he can have anything to complain about. Oh, and it was Joel Hufford complaining, not Tim Dellor.

Gunnarson made some nice passes and had a very good game, Seol's first touch was outstanding, DLC looked probably in the best form he has been in for us. But there were acres of space in midfield for Fulham to play in (esp 2nd half) and had Sidwell been on I think he would have been a lot better at snapping at their heels/closing down Fulham than Gunnar today.

Scrappy crappy match but like has been said it was a win, the end.

Oh and Joel on BBC Berks was being a twat i agree.

Sidwell, Sonko, Little, Murty - all missing from our regular line up. Christ, at the beginning of the season I was wondering whether we'd win one, let alone beat an established Premiership team without these guys.

I didn't forget Convey, just left him out seeing as he's not really been part of the team this season. But Convey as well......!

Can't understand those 'supporters' who were moaning after the game.

Did anyone really ever expect a relegation haunted team now managed by Sanchez and other members of the crazy gang to play or allow their opponents to play free flowing, attractive football. They are fighting for their lives and were prepared to do whatever was required to get three points. Fortunately they didn't succeed and the price of our three points was a pretty dire second half.

However, year after year after year we would have lost that type of game. No longer is that the case.

Quite agree. It was all a bit dour in the second half and I thought we looked a bit leg-weary.

Surely the players are due a bit of slack from us after the last couple of seasons we've all enjoyed.

And a win is still a win.

Scrappy Comparing it to other events was stupid. With football you never know what to expect. Today was a performance similar to the end of last season, nothing to play for, seeing the season out.

"nothing to play for"?
What about Europe?
Oh no,I forgot, we don't want to play in Europe.
Not sure why our £2million man isn't getting the experience which will prove useful in the future rather than DLC and Oster who probably won't be with us next season.

I like one of the comments on BBRB after the game when someone said it was the worst performance of the season - clearly they weren't at Watford (or Wigan or Portsmouth)

Bikey never fails to entertain

Maybe I should say this quietly - I quite enjoyed it today, thought most of our players did well - I'd even include Bikey and DLC who can both make me a little nervous at times. If I have to find something to moan about it, it would be that some bloke sat a few rows in front of me thought it was acceptable to leaf through The Guardian for about 15 minutes just before the match started.

Long impressed when he came on. Very sparky. Seol could not get going. He's gotta leave in the Summer. Bikey's getting better and better and Ingy has to be player of the season.

Zat Knight is a big bugger[/quote] You're not wrong  Imagine how the fulham mascots feel walking out next to him when they're about 5 feet tall and he's 6 feet 6.

Can I be a bit controversial and say, while I did think it was a good team performance, I didn't think Ivar had his best match. Unusually for him, I thought he struggled a bit physically and missed quite a lot of headers, particularly in the second half.
