Ivar for me...

Any chance that people can allow this one poll to actually be worthwhile ?

Royals fans have devalued almost every vote this season by multiple voting and already people on here are talking about using different addresses to vote multiple times.

If this is widespread it will mean that the result is a sham and if the players don;t alread chuck the worthless awards they have been winning in the bin then they may as well do so.

So let's make sure that the POTS is a genuine reflection of what the fans feel and not cheat the system (and yes - this DOES APPLY TO THE KOREAN CONSTITUENCY)

Shorey is often our best player on the pitch and a thoroughly decent guy off it. All round RFC player of the decade imho.

I have refused to vote for POTS ever since Jimmy Quinn failed to win the award after scoring 40 goals in 2003/04.

As for the 2002/03 winner....

Harper winning it over Forster was just a travesty. Almost as bad was Glen Little not winning it last year.

Get it right this time you clowns.

dantheloyalroyal Tossing between Ingimarsson and Shorey.

Shorey has had alot of line light in ways, and I think it would be great to give him it because he has still performed week in, week out!

And then Ivar, well, the 'unsung hero' you might say, and I agree entirely. Deserves something for the work he has put in, taking over captainsy in Murty's absence, as well as holding the make-shift defence together recently.

It's a tough one, and I think i'll be waiting a little longer before I make my decision.

Spot on.

I will be waiting until the very last minute before I place my vote I think!

Ivar may just sway my vote though, as I feel that would be the ultimate prize to top off this season for him, whereas I can see Shorey getting a England call-up in the near future, which is a prize in its own right. Ivar just edging it for me, for now.

It was a tough choice between Ingimarsson and Hunt for me - Ivar = Mr Consistent, Hunt I just like for his effort (plus how he handled the Cech thing).
Chose Ivar in the end as he gets way too little recognition and credit.

For me it's between Shorey and Ivar.

Sonko, Doyle and Little would have been contenders were it not for injuries. Sidwell, Hunt and Murty are just off the pace but not too far.

Honourable mentions to Bikey and Seol for extremely important runs in the team, and Hahnemann for a decent season in goal

Congratulations to the rest of the squad for performing brilliantly in our first Premiership season, with the exception of John Halls who seems utter turd. Sympathies go out to Mate who missed the campaign through injury. A big well done to Shane Long for playing as full a part as he did, with very little experience.

Ivar takes the prize for me because Shorey has cocked up a few freekicks and Ivar has scored the odd important goal on top of his normal workload.

I always like to be a dit individual. Seol started well. just because he seems incapable of puuting a cross round a defender and is a light weight passenger at times doesn't mean he doesn't have his moments.

No where near as bad as brooker, now there was a yellow streak of piss too scared to take on his own shadow let alone a fullback.

As an earlier poster said. Yes Shorey has been fantastic this year. Should deserve and England call up blah blah blah. However he has missed a few games. On that basis Ivar gets my vote ........... just.

Shorey for me

Hasn't been destroyed by any of these so called quality wingers. Not voting ivar as his marking for 1 or 2 goals we've conceded was a bit suspect.

If the vote was on here it looks like Ingi-marsson would win it by a mile. So looks like Doyle or Seol will win it then
