Technically speaking

If a player can be desrupted by otheres. Then his mind is not on playing for RFC and his own game.
I think SC and vice Captain Sidwell will keep that away from the Royal Battle ship. Thats there job! Sidwell has been placed in the shop window by SC and im sure everone is full of happyness for the lad!

It can serve a a real boost in moral to see a friend succeed as a result of hard efort....

True I don't. There's no evidence for it.

But one thing's for certain: the situation isn't actively encouraging good morale. A player who repeatedly refuses to commit to a club and constantly looks elsewhere isn't exactly going to fill his team mates with buckets of confidence.

Stop spoiling my thread, its a light hearted chant. Get over the fact he's going, im going to sing his name louder than ever today as he's played a HUGE part of where we are today, some people have short memories.
Disrupting morale? Whatever, everyone understands that he wants to further his career by playing for a bigger club, and you would do the same.
