Would imagine the two colours - as its going to be hooped - that will NOT feature will be blue and white therefore expect black and yellow or orange and green or purple and grey or some totally ghastly combination of colours.

I prefer the mono colours for the away strip, the simple all white or all black designs of recent years were great I also liked that nice 'Spain' burgindy kit we had.

Lastly the suggestion of this is that next summer only the home jkit will be changed meaning the club have decided to move back toward the 'one new kit every year' template.

Personally until the club decide what they are doing with the kits next season I won't be buying.

If we can get back to winning ways and manage to finish in Europe, will they be bringing out a 3rd European away kit like many other clubs do? The typeface for the names and numbers are often different on these.

Why does it matter what our away kit is when, as any schoolboy knows, we are allowed to wear our home colours in any game?

Does anyone know of an online store where you can buy classic replica football shirts. Im after a 86-89 light blue Reading shirt a'la Courage.

I have heard that the new away shirt is going to be black and silver hoops.

Remember where you read it first

Why don't the club just ask the fans (through star) for kit designs seeing that it is the fans who are going to be purchasing the bloody things. It only makes sense and I seem to remember lots of people kicking off last summer about this seasons new shirt.

If the fans had a say then perhaps shirt sales would increase.

99-01 and last seasons home kit being my fav so far.

Away kits would have to be the yellow & blue and yellow & red hoops and the black one.

no idea on the colour but i know one thing.....it will be fahionably 'different'!!!!!!

With us being in the Prem we'll be looking to further our image and profile. This season we went for querky-ness in the red kit with a stupid yellow line, and as for the home one we got one blue sleeve and one white sleeve! (wtf!!!)

So, expect the new away kit to feature some unnecessary stripe, blob or bit missing!

Or at least have the club present 2/3 designs and STAR members vote for a winner. OK, might be too late this time round but what about for the next one??

Black and Silver

I stand to be shot down if this is wrong, but heard from a source in the Megastore, who is supposed to be keeping hush hush about the whole thing

Sounds shite! Do the club actually go out of their way to choose the most ghastly designs.

NOTE TO CLUB: Symetry and traditional colours (look at the badges we've had) GOOD!

Unsymetrical stripes, minging colours and materials which come apart BAD!
