Best signing - Seol (he may have gone off the boil but he earned us early points which meant we haven't been under pressure all season)
Goal of the season - Lita v Man City (A) *
Match of the season - Boro (H)
Result of the season - Bolton (A)
*EDIT Lita's first summed up all thats great about this current side. Great tackle by Shorey then onto the White Pele who drops a shoulder and feeds Sidwell who in turn feeds a slide rule ball to Lita. Lita then finishes sublimely into the corner.

Totally agree. If you'd asked the same question back in November he would've won hands down.
Our start to the season set the tone for an amazing season, and Seol was a massive part of those first 7 or 8 games. Since then he's had his moment and remains one of our most creative players even if he can't run or tackle.

Player of the season - Ivar - Mr Reliable just edging out 'Shorey for England' (who must have caught El Tel's eye last night??)
Most improved player - Hunt (thought his best position would be on the bench - coming on to run at tired defences for the last 20mins I was wrong!)
Best signing - De La Cruz ( After a shocker against the Arse he's come back really well - solid performer)
Goal of the season - Sidwell's 2nd at home to Villa - lovely 1-2 with Kits.
Match of the season - 3-2 M'brough, for 20 mins it all looked going so horribly wrong - I remember Shorey's 1st touch - a sliced clearance under no pressure straight into the LW. Half way through the 1st half and Nicky picks up the ball goes on a box-box run and although we don't score belief floods back into the team and the rest as they say is history.
Result of the season - Weat Ham - yes I know the Hammers were poor but would've have predicted our biggest win for 17 year would come in the Prem - exorcised that 6-0 2nd half humbling by Cureton inspired Bristol Rovers. Still the biggest win the Prem this season.

Player of the season - Shorey, and should be capped with England recognition.
Most improved player - No brainer, Steven Hunt. The one player who has surpassed everyones expectations
Best signing - Seol. Audacious at times, Infuriating at times, but has the ability to win a game from nothing( SheffUtd away, West Ham away, Newc Utd Home). Just sad that a section of the Reading faithfull can't see a player for what he is.
Goal of the season - Seol, West Ham away. Just for the way the net rippled.
Match of the season - Geordies Away.

Most improved player - Steve Hunt, I was one of his worse critics last season and thought he wouldn't be able to hack in the Prem, but he has proved me wrong and fair play to him.
Best signing - De La Cruz, has done all that has been asked of him for a minimal amount of cash.
Goal of the season - Steve Sidwell 2nd VS aston Villa at home. great team play and a great finish. Seol's header against Charlton a close second.
