The Final Straw

by The 17 Bus » 05 May 2007 11:01

well was looking forward to going today as my dad is working, so pop along to be honest and pay the upgrade from over 65 to adult, having done this a couple of tmes this season expected to pay £10 or less as have done previous, but no, for a silver game that my dad has paid £20 for already on his ST they wanted £14.

Well oxf*rd you RFC, this is the straw that breaks the back, you can take your lovely ground and Prem football and stick it.

There's nothing lower than a silver game. It's Silver - Gold - Platinum.

Confused ? I am !

It's £10 to upgrade for the game, were you charged £14 (if so that was wrong ).

Are you objecting to paying £10 ? That is the difference between what your dad paid and what anyone else would pay so not sure why it is wrong ?

they wanted £14 not £10, originally said it was £17!!

And yes I will be back, but not for a while and not very often, looking at getting sky later in the year for my coverage.

When you eventually grow out of being a boy you might realise how stupid that sounds.

And realise that you can no longer afford to watch the games because of the extortionate prices.

Sadly as we get older we have less cash to splash, At the same time ticket prices increase as thousands of plastics decide to go and watch 80 minutes (arrive 5 mins late, leave 5 mins early) of Premiership football except for when it's not a big name opponent.

Oneday I will be priced out.

I'm not getting an ST next season.

Not value for money at the MadStad IMO. Sky Sports for me next season.

Already there. A trip for me and my Dad to watch one home game will cost us over £100 all in, which is too much.
