SpaceCruiser From the highlights that I saw on MOTD, it is apparent to me that:
1) we should have had a penalty
2) their first goal was offside
3) Hahnemann f**ked up for their second goal.

2 out of 3 isn't bad for you Spacey.

Wasn't Marlon King offside when he touched the ball?

Does he have to? I thought all he had to do was make a move toward the ball. Or stand right in front of the goalkeeper

That's what I thought too. But I'm fairly sure King had the tiniest touch on the ball as it passed him.

I think you lot need to learn the offside rule!
King was not offside, as he was played on clearly by Duberry who got caught napping. The active area debate is therefore nonsense.
The issue of whether King touched the ball or not is because, had he done so, Shittu would have then been off from his "pass".

Actually, Duberry was baulked by Henderson so was fouled but that wasn't spotted by the officials. Confirmed by Marlon King and Aidie Boothroyd in various interviews.

Stranded Reminded me a bit of a goal we scored from a corner at Sheff Utd a few seasons back where Forster (I think) blocked off a Sheff U defender allowing Williams (again could be the wrong player) a free header to put us ahead.
