Looking good.We were 2 nil up in 95. We dont want a penalty!!!

84 Robson-Kanu has a pop.Wide but shows confidence.
85.A fed Good save from Bolton freekick.Scott Davies sounds like a good ball winner.
3 mins time being added.

A fed again looking confident at back cooly intercepting a Bolton attack. Up other end Corner urz.

Dying seconds Webb looks at his watch..

:D :D :D I know that I could be putting my neck there right on the block but I feel confident that a higher proportion of young players could make it through the ranks, thus making John Madejski's faith (and money) in the Academy pay off in a big way.

The team tonight was barely recognisable as the team that won the Southern section. It was a pretty dire game. The goals were well taken but attritubutable to poor defending at corners.

If I were a first team player I wouldn't be worried [on tonight's performance] that any of these are about to break through....

Federici was OK - one great save and one great recovery when he fumbled a shot. Halls was solid. Osano OK. Otherwise we all seemed pretty anonymous.

It was a poor game and I am glad it was only £3 as anything more to watch that would have been a rip off.....

Still chuffed the lads won and I am delighted that they have achieved so much this year. Tonight was not representative of the season as a whole - and they still snatched the win.

Just back from the game. Well done to the second string.

I agree, this was about the 5th reserve / youth game I've seen this year and the poorest, but we did enough to win it. Special mentions to A Fed (man of the match), Pearce and Bennet. Halls did well and Robson-Kanu played better than usual. Henry quieter than usual but did OK. Cox had some good touches, but I've seen him play better. We were up against a very young Bolton side (only the keeper was known to me), but we did enough.

Great for the lads to finish off another great season with a trophy. You have to say that the 1st team, reserves and youth teams have all done much better than we could have expected.

Yes, the future is bright (and the present isn't bad either!)

Ye-es.... It takes two teams to make a good game, however, and Bolton? Well.....

Considering there were a reported 4,000 tickets sold before the game and you could buy on the turnstiles (as I and others did) it's strange that the official attendance was only 4,172.

That must be how many stayed behind to see the presentation. For the game there must have been almost that many in the West Stand alone with far more in the East.

No chance there was 4,000 in the West, front five rows were fairly empty most of the way along. The fact that if was pishing down quite heavily would have undoubtedly put many off, nearly did me but my mate picked me up direct from the pub.
