Rawlie19 Does anyone have any idea if a 5 year old can go without a match ticket? They would obviously sit on a lap and not take up a seat, and I know that at Reading it's ok, but I can't find any regulations for this for other clubs. If anyone knows it would be helpful. Don't want to take him if we can't get in as this would obviously cause hassle for the rest of us.
You could always pay at the turnstiles if he can't get in.

Most clubs allow 5's and under in free. I would make a quick phone call to BRFC if at all possible. If not, you can pay on the day and the littlen sits on your lap. He'll get in though, one way or t'other.

Yeah, ta. That's what we've decided to do anyway. I'm in York for the weekend and he's my friends son. I bought him a Reading shirt with Sonko 5 on it (keeps calling him pooperman  ) and he absolutely loved it. He cried when he was told he had to take it off and couldn't sleep in it tonight. Really hoping he will love the game as much as I think he will. He sang the complete Kevin Doyle (number 1 is Kevin Doyle...) and even included "and on the bench is Kevin Doyle". And then when I showed him a picture of KD celebrating infront of the East stand he said "His numbers not only 9 though, he has EVERY number!"

Classic. :D

LOL at all the inflatables today. I can't recall there being anywhere near that many at Wednesday last year.

And LOL at the four lads dressed up as super hero's - looked superb!

Thought the Fern was a terrific pub too. Very welcoming and looking forward to returning their next season!

Sadly though, the stewards couldn't wait to get their grubby mits on them and pop 'em!

Quite a sight when we walked to our seats. Thought I entered the Bradley Bear Club.

So what was the most impressive inflatable?

I vote the JCB - massive, closely followed by the giant penis

When on MOTD did the penis become visible? I watched last night and didn't see it. Was it during our highlights or did it get mentioned elsewhere?

I think I spotted a guy low down in a side stand with it sat on his lap fairly early on in the coverage! Either that or they do massive sausages in their hotdogs up there!

Replay of the goal resulting from the assault on Marcus.
