I'm curious as to how someone from the Republic of Ireland is more 'local' than someone from France. They're both from foreign countries, and Paris is closer to Reading than Dublin is.

apart from the fact that most of france is further away than ireland, making it less local

and thats on top of the fact that we have obvious links with ireland being that we used to own it in our own special imperial way.

if you are trying to assign who is more local than the other, then yes, a rough estimation of how far they live away is a prerequisite.

and yes, brittany used to be owned by england, and so by definition is probably about as local as dublin.

Played for Mali in FIFA 2003 World Youth Championships, where they beat uzbekistan and lost to spain and argentina. Kalifa played half the game against Uz, dropped for the game against spain (for who Sergio Garcia scored!?) and played full match against argentina.
