Goal of the season?

by Tacano » 19 May 2007 00:47

For Reading that is...

I'd say Lita's first away goal against Man City. Great counter attack, accurate pass from Sidwell, and a fine left foot shot from Lita. Top notch.

My personal favourite was Seol at West Ham.

This was my favorite goal:

Amazing header from Lita to make it 3-2 vs. Man U in the FA Cup. If only Gunnarson's would have been a tad lower instead of hitting the crossbar!

That gets my vote too - good team goal - great 1-2 with Kits.

I wasn't that impressed by Seol's WHU goal - faffed around for ages after we messed up a free kick then pretty much mishit a grass cutter which the keeper didn't see...

Having said that I don't think we've scored as many great goals as we did last season - nothing to touch Convey's against Millwall or Little's against Plymouth.

Either Doyle's 16 second one against Sheffield Utd, or Sidwell's one-two with Kitson. Both great goals... 8)

Are you sure?!

It looks to me like he went round a defender (admittedly after messing up a free kick) and then smacked it into the top corner from outside the box giving the keeper no chance.

Fantastic goal!

Lita vs Middlesborough

If only I could have bottled a little bit of how that one made me feel.

Very good goal. Had forgotten about it, probably like many other goals, but this is probably my favourite one too!

As for most important, Lita v Middlesborough.

Lita's against Cheatski, great cross from Blakey and a diving header at the back post.

Great goal and totally unexpected.

Closest one to Convey v Millwall.
