The more I think about it, we did actually score some very good goals this season. The two mention in the post about, Seol at West Ham, Lita's at Manure as already mentioned.

3 that I really liked though are Litas at Chelski, Kit's simple nod in against Manure in the Cup, great set piece corner and Ivar's header from the corner against Man City.

Infact we are very good at corners.

Can I vote for my 2nd fav! Seol's header against Charlton - lovely build up including some great work by Shorey...

I'd say Seol's against West Ham but no one has mentioned Shorey's against spurs, that was a great hit.

He had quite a large chunk of luck, during that run, if I remember...

Banjax Sidwells second at Villa

We didn't score 2 at Villa

For me definately Seol at Sham. The elation and celebration was fantastic.

Lita's double against City, gave me the same feelings but the goals were not quite as good as Seol's.

URZZZZZZ

Behindu I wasn't that impressed by Seol's WHU goal - faffed around for ages after we messed up a free kick then pretty much mishit a grass cutter which the keeper didn't see...

Are you sure?!

It looks to me like he went round a defender (admittedly after messing up a free kick) and then smacked it into the top corner from outside the box giving the keeper no chance.

Fantastic goal!

Yes, I was going from memory and my memory was wrong !

Hit it well, but I never go for simple long range shots for 'favourite' goals - prefer something with a bit of a build up...

The build up was the pass from Convey!

Newbie question:

I ran across a nice compilation from pre-promotion and noticed two different away kits (a dark and a white shirt). Is that right? Or are there goals in here from two years ago (2004-05) as well as last year (2005-06)?

Sticking this question in here because as good as the goals were from this year, there were two or three from the year(s) before that were just unbelievable:

Convey's against Millwall and Lita's bicycle kick where he disrobes after are incredible.

All those goals are from 2005-06. The dark away shirt was the official away shirt last season (05-06), the white shirt was used in 04-05 but was kept as a 'third choice' kit in case of a clash. The white shirt was used once last season, away at Leicester who play in all blue - blue and white hoops clashed with their colours, as did the dark shirt. The white shirt was used on the day promotion was guaranteed 8) .

Thanks for clearing that up. Our knights in white away kits shined that day!

I also like Gunnarsson's from last week, he did very well to keep it down and put it in the corner.

Lita's double against Man City was brilliant, both goals were on the counter attack and both brilliantly taken.

Hunt's against Bolton was quality as well, the play from Shorey before crossing it in was superb.
