readingfc_4_life_and_beyo ...Has scored more goals (6) at Reading (31) than he did at Cork (25), in just one extra appearance (77 at Reading).
Impressive.

Or, as per previous post, Irish defences snuffed him outnivek elyod Kevin Doyle has scored 6 more goals for us than he did for Cork city in practically the same number of appearances. It is impressive because he has done better in the Premiership and the Championship than in the comparatively low standard of the Irish Premiership.

More seriously, you'd expect a striker to pop in more in his early 20's than in his late teens and perhaps the service was not as good in Ireland.
But whatever, top man.

He'll be better next year, mark my words.
25 goals - you heard it here first...

Behindu If (Doyle) gets (20) I'll be stunned.
I thin(k) he'll find it harder next season, Lita will be our top scorer and Doyle will show more of his alround game than his goalscoring.
Will still be a key player for us....
I understand the numbers now, in my defence it was a pretty confusing way to describe it ! When did English go out of fashion !

It's Irish now. We're talking about Doyle, aren't we?
