For a full season and a half (of his 2 and 1/2 years) with Cork City, Kevin Doyle played on the right wing. He played up front for about the final 15 games of the 2004 season and the first 12 games of 2005, he then joined Reading.

Doyle still finished in the top 6 premiership scorers, even tough he had the best part of 3 months out injured and not match fit! how can u guys even suggest he is not capable of getting 20 goals a season?????

I will bet my house on this one! next season, our strongest partnership will be kits and doyle with Lita as main substitute, doyle will get us into europe nect season, so long as Sir steve signs a like 4 like replacement for sidwell so the service keeps coming!

Because he isn't capable of getting that many goals. He went six games straight in December, when we had our hardest run of games, without scoring a single goal. That is why he will not score 20 goals in a season for us
