AbovetheI
Rawlie19 I could live happily with this as an away kit...

With black shorts and Black and White hooped socks. Or white socks...

We're not Australians. :x

Who said we were? :?

I really hope the shirt doesn't have a predominant blue or white theme. I always think that an away shirt should not have any predominant colour that is in the home shirt. Partly why I never liked the white away shirt we had...

That kit looks a bit like Darlington's kit

How about green and purple? Can't think of anyone that we'd have 'copied' that from and we could get sponsorship from some apple and blackberry Chuppa Chups, or something!

:D

Mind you, I was pleased with that 'bee' effort, but could we have yellow in our strip? :?

Uke Will the new kit develop bobbles like the current kit?

Also anyone got any solutions for bobbled kits?

Only don't buy Puma!

OK someone beat me to that but we've only had the problem since Puma produced the kit. Even their cheaper (associate or not?) predecessor produced better quality.

Having just stumbled upon this thread, that's a work of art and the club should definitely produce that! Top quality photoshopping!

I have to disagree - yellow has no place in football other than in a refs hand.

Get ready for this though (but with a better neck hopefully):

I asked one of the senior guys in the mega store about the new kit and he said he had seen it.Obviously I played 20 questions in an attempt to glean something but he had been well drilled and effectively said its more than his jobs worth to reveal anything blah.
The only thing I managed to glean is that he thinks it is excellent ...one of the best he has seen etc and a massive improovement.

Yes, but how do we know that his favourite colour isn't pink or purple?

Anyone (STAR perhaps?) know when this is likely to be released "into the public domain"?

What will our 3rd kit be then for Newcastle away? Will it be the red one?

Would we really need one? The home kit will do fine for that game.

True, I forgot they played in it at St James Park. Must have been all the pre-match beer

What about when we play Derby and Fulham? It all varies on short and socks colours but we'll still use Red when absolute necessary next year.

Black & Grey shirts V White Shirts. I think even the most blind of ref will be able to spot the difference.

Well of course we will. The red kit is the 3rd choice so it stands to reason.
