SpaceCruiser You're not still peddling that crap?

Tell me Spacey you thought before posting that?

I must have confused you with Royalee. Or is it Royal Blue?

Spacey, if you spent a little bit more time reading things properly rather than posting in haste to keep your post count at No1, you would know that I have always fiercely criticised those that single out players like Seol and boo them.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Spacey actually has no idea about anything...

It's just a thought...

PS - BOO SEOL

It is a bit worrying that the draw seems to have been delayed but I doubt Reading have invented the 2007 event so hopefully it is still on. I'm sure the Moonies will make sure it is attractive enough for teams to take part !

Draw will be held on 29th May, 11AM(Local time)

Apparently, there will be a draw at 11am on 29th May. It is 3am in the UK time. Organiser are inviting Korean football fans to this event, and some applicants may even get a discount voucher for matches in the tournament.

There is actually an update on the site from 20th May 2007 (but only on the Korean version, not the English version of the site). Not knowing the language, I put the text into BabelFish and it translates it as follows:

"Blood su cup trillion draw of lots participation event!

This article would suggest that the tournament is in some doubt. Manchester United have already cancelled their trip to Malaysia for the same reason.
http://www.thisislancashire.co.uk/sport/sportheadlines/display.var.1417668.0.whites_trip_in_the_balance.php

"WANDERERS plans to play in the prestigious Peace Cup in South Korea could hinge on the diplomatic skills of Premier League chairman, Sir Dave Richards.

The tournament, due to be played between July 12 and July 21, is under threat after organisers of the Asia Cup, the region's international flagship tournament, which is taking place in Malaysia from July 7 to July 29, complained to FIFA.

Sepp Blatter, president of the world governing body, has advised that no tournaments or tours should take place in the Far East while the Asia Cup is being staged - a stance that would affect Liverpool, Fulham and Portsmouth, who have signed up for the Premier League's Asia Tour in Hong Kong, Reading, who have applied to enter the Peace Cup along with Wanderers, and Manchester United, who have arranged a lucrative tour."

ManUre have called off a game due to the clash with the Asian Cup.
The Peace Cup must now be a serious doubt as well, given the timing of the event and FIFA involvement.

Accrding to the official site, it seems the cup is finalized. They have this picture of the participating clubs' emblems posted.

FC Reading, Olympique Lyon, Udinese Calcio, that's easy. It's written there :D I reckon RP is River Plate. BW is Bolton Wanderer. SIFC? S Pulse? No ideas who the other three represent.

Prize money £2million for the winner and £500,000 for the runners up in 2003 and 2005.
