retired aggro LOL @ this thread

None of your players will get a call up, they're no where near good enough, as will be shown when you get relegated ad put back into a division where you belong

i wish retired aggro had an L in it.

Name your price that no one in the current squad ever receives a call up to the England squad ?

Erm...strictly speaking 'none of them' has to be the right answer. I predict none of them will play in the next England game. Therefore none of them will play for England before any of the names listed.

Shorey for me, left back we are lacking depth. After A.Cole & Bridge who is there?

Lita & Kits may get a call up if they score a fair few goals, Ashton did, Johnson did, Crouch did ......etc etc

Love how even people that are posting on here, have dismissed reading so easily, if other teams are thinking this way we will be able to catch them out.

CMON URZZZZZZ!!

I made a bet with the landlord of my local pub two years ago that Sidders would be in the England squad within five years...so an England call-up for Super Sid in the next three years would be great 8)

Well he was right about one thing. We are in the division we belong in for the coming season!

Shame the same can't be said for West Ham.

Quality thread.

Not sure how anyone can knock Phil Neville who has won more than most players in this country when people think Nicky Shorey will play for England

Has he played yet? I'd wait untill he's kicked a ball if I were you....

Personally I hope he does, don't mind being proved wrong if it means a Reading player represents England.

Why?

I didn't shoot my mouth off and find it might come back to bite me on the arse.

I'm just glad he's got the recognition he has deserved, and proved a few people wrong.

Yep, it wasn't you that said Wales were better than England in 2003

I'm happy to be proved wrong, although recently I've actually said Shorey deserves a place in the squad on the back of his performances this season.

Yup, and I took my  like a man, as you'd remember.

I just find it odd - you take great delight in posting provocative stuff, yet seem to get a bit stroppy if it backfires (which, I have to admit, is rarely). Just my observation.

Shorey proved a lot of people wrong, he deserves his place in the squad. Not stroppy at all. I hope Doyle gets 20 league goals and also proves me wrong.
