plus kettle and pots are lacking hands, fingers, and actual ears, so would have great difficulty in using a phone at all, although some sort of workaround that works through vibration could be rigged up, given some notice.

I spoke to them yesterday. They were very helpful but their prices can be bettered quite comfortably on the web.
They did warn that availability is getting very limited on flights to Seoul, especially in terms of the cheaper seats....

Incheon is the main airport. Make sure you search for flights there as opposed to Seoul airport, which has less flights.

has flights going out on 12th and back on 17th (would cover the games against Riverplate & Lyon) for £530.

There is a Emirates flight for a little more but there may be an option of a couple of nights stopover in Dubai which I may investigate.

If anyone comes up with anything cheaper than the above let us know.

I had a quick look at flights over two weeks, between the 11th July and the 24th that could be done at £538 on Air France with a stop over at Paris.

I found that one a while back when considering going. I'd have a look at just how long you'd actually have to make that connection in Paris, remembering you'll have to go through customs, collect your bags and check in again.

Rev your bags will automatically be checked in and you'll have no need to go through customs again as you'll be just going through transfers

Trust me any Air France or KLM flights which do stop overs locally do everything to the second so that you don't miss connections

Thats unless Andover Royal's on your flight accosting the cabin crew

There are hourly flights to Paris - if you think the connection is too tight on the one you've looked at just book onto the one an hour earlier...
