Reading ARE NOT going to sign half these players you read about. The price of David Nugent would bring in 3 quality Coppell signings for gods sake!
So rather than tell you who we will sign, because I really couldn't tell you and nor can the next post on here, I will tell you who I've been told recently that we're keen on "at the right price. "
Curtis Davies if we can get the price down. WBA are talking silly money though.
Giles Barnes, but not likely if Derby go up.
Phil Jagielka if Sheffield United make their price a sensible one.
Emerse Fae looks a good bet apparently.
James Beattie has been mentioned but it's all down to wages. A fee apparently agreed.

blue_army [Reading are set to lose Steve Sidwell, Nicky Shorey, Kevin Doyle and Leroy Lita this summer.
Sidwell will move on a free transfer to Chelsea, Shorey will go to either Arsenal or West Ham for £3m, Doyle will move to Newcastle for £7m and Lita will sign for Portsmouth for £2m.
Reading striker Dave Kitson is wanted by Celtic.
Reading will probably bring in 3–4 Squad players this summer as well as a replacement for Steve Sidwell. The likes of Leon Barnett, John Mensah and Emerse Fae are all realistic aswell as Phil Jagielka.[/i]

I saw Bobby Zamora at the Madjeski stadium today andf when I asked him what he was doing, he just smiled. I waited around then he came out of the stadium later on with Nicky Hammond and Steve Coppell.

Reading_Royal My friend who's an Arsenal fan said that he wouldn't mind loaning out Reyes to us a couple of seasons ago as he wasn't very good.
We had a laugh and a joke about it for months saying Reyes should move on a loan deal. But i was really disappointed when he was loaned out to Real Madrid, my heart sank knowing he wasn't coming to Reading.

Who helped take us apart in the cup, he is still a skillful player with a hell of alot of pace. The chances of us getting him are zero, but he would be a fantastic signing and one that I'm sure Steve would get the best out of without diving lessons.SpaceCruiserReading_Royal My friend who's an Arsenal fan said that he wouldn't mind loaning out Reyes to us a couple of seasons ago as he wasn't very good.
