A team post about something new that isn't a dodd, doesn't seem right somehow.

Looks like it could be a great read (particularly the supporter contributions for the games at Sheffield United and Newcastle).

From what I know about it, the book is basically a game by game diary of last season by Roachy with a little bit of fan experience from a different supporter for each one as well.

When someone has spent 11 months meticulously researching and writing 100,000 words about the club he loves; surely the question should be "who the feck is SpaceCruiser ?"

Have a bit more info now as spoken to the author.

The format for each chapter is is a bit of chat from Stuart followed by the story of the game and their own parts played by players, manager, Chairman, kit man etc.

He says the chapter on Newcastle away is a particularly good read as a lot of it deals with a group of us and our night out after the game !!!

He also says that he will be doing a signing session on Saturday July 7th in Waterstones in Broad Street acompanied by Kevin Doyle.

Don't have a time but will post when I get it.

I'm not sure, but I think we (The Whiff) got a draft/review copy of this. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's definitetly one for the fan who has to have everything. I'm not one of those fans.

Just thought - anyone else remember the old Reading anarchist mag of the same name?

No?

Just me then.
