I'd add to that that things were just starting to show signs of maybe returning to normality with Chelsea being an anomaly when Eggy and a couple of others show up and push the extremes still further.

I'd whole heartedly support a stance from us of not playing along and if it gets us relegated so be it. At least we won't have the possibility of going bust in 4 years if it all blows up.

West Ham seem to be prepared to splash the cash, but their fate is still not sealed, I would p*ss myself if they get Bent as well as Parker then get relegated for the Tevez sh*t and no one can afford their players due to their silly wages, sensible wages and mid table (well 17th or higher) would suit me fine.
