Outrageous. I will have to continue last season's policy of personal favours to membercard holders.

My son and I have season tickets but in a poor-view place. What are the chances of getting decent-view seats (e.g. halfway up East Stand, between 18 yard boxes) if we don't renew our existing seats (we have just over 300 Royalty Points each)? Any views, guesstimates?

I'm not renewing, nor is my Dad or Uncle. I don't have the money due to various reasons that I won't bore you with. We've all had season tickets for 10+ years and I suppose due to Sky, MOTD etc now is a better time than ever to not have one (in a strange sort of way). Nevertheless I'm still pretty  that I won't have one, but it doesn't mean I cant get one in future (Unless we become the "Worlds Most Sucessful Club Ever").

Maguire 12,000 renewals so far, quoted by TO employee today. They're going to have a busy week methinks.
Did you renew then or did you just phone them up for a chat?

Given that 2 days ago we were told there were 12,000 sold I reckon they'll do a fair few more yet !

It'll finish up at about 15,000 I reckon.

Drop of 3,000, take in to account change in personal situation and a number of people getting one as a one season thing now we are in the Prem then that's probably about fair.

I was thisclose to not renewing, but having missed most of this season living abroad, I felt compelled to. I was also hit by the fact that I'm no longer a concession so £545 it is now for me. £30 a game is an extortionate amount of money, and if the prices don't come down after the expansion, then this will be my last season. I fully understand those that are not renewing. Football really is beginning to slowly lose its appeal and the money in he premier league is sickening. Away trips have long gone out the window for me, just can't afford £80-100 total cost to see a game of football

So how many new tickets will be sold? Will we sell out of season tickets?

Could anyone with a 'contact' in the ticket office give us an update on the renewal count please.

My missus wants to hop on the bandwagon so the more spare seats the better!

My mate went to the stadium to renew yesterday and said they were fairly busy.

Amazingly leaving payment to the last minute was not enough for some people as they were asking if they could pay with a post dated cheque! Almost as amazing was that the TO said this was fine!

Turns8 Difficult to say Glo...The club will go through all the member card holders I guess and then if there are still spaces they may well go on general sale...however, I would say unlikely...

Hmmm, I wouldn't be so sure. I suspeact that anyone who wants a ST will be able to get one. Personally I doubt that the number of non-renewals will be less than the waiting list, so I think anyone new who wants a ST will be able to get one fine.

At less than £600, our season tickets cost no more than a decent night out for 2 taking in a top West End restaurant. There is no shortage of locally based football fans who enjoy this kind of lifestyle.

Whilst I can see a number of long term supporters deciding that £30 a match is too expensive, I will be amazed if the club have the slightest difficulty in passing on these seats to others with deeper pockets.

I feel sorry for those who struggle to pay the price of Premiership football but, given the current success of the team in one of the best leagues in the world, there will be many who see a seat at the Mad Stad as good value for money.....................me included.
