Ok, we'll move onto the shortlist for the vote. The nominations are:

Glen Little (11 nominations)
Darren Caskey
Anthony Rougier
Jerry Williams (2 nominations)
Scott Murray (2 nominations)
Scott Taylor (8 nominations)
Sammy Igoe (2 nominations)
Seol Ki-Hyeon (2 nominations)
John Oster
Luke Chadwick (loanees not allowed!)
Andy Gurney
Bas Savage
Gordon Cumming? (was he left sided?)
Tom Jenkins?
Michael Meaker (2 nominations  )
Andy Hughes
Keith Knight
Mark Robson? (2 nominations???)
Lea Barkus
Mark Holzman
Paul Brooker
Gerard Vaughan

I think we all know who's going to win this one, but what the heck. The shortlist should be, I think:

Glen Little
Scott Taylor
Sammy Igoe
Seol Ki-Hyeon
Jerry Williams
Michael Meaker (!)
Darren Caskey
Anthony Rougier

I've left out Mark Robson as I don't remember him or don't know him. Anyone going to disagree with the short-list - I imagine donfers will be pleased.

The inclusion of Gerard Vaughan in the long list is interesting...I hope Martin Salter will be included in the Left Wing section.

...was a left winger.

Sorry for the late arrival - been away for a few days (they don't have broadband in that part of Scotland).

Anyway, Tom Jenkins needs a nomination. Record fee received when we sold him to Southampton.

Well given he pretty much always played left wing and pretty much never played right wing, I'd say that was fairly conclusive evidence for him being a left winger. You don't have to be left footed to play on the left.

Sorry, you're too late, Glen Little's already nabbed this crown with his sublime wizardry.

Gordons Cumming There's only one Gordon Cumming,
one Gordon Cumming,
one Gordon Cumming
There's only one Gordon Cumming.

Played many on the left though methinks...........................
..........................or is my memory playing tricks!!!???

Your memory is playing tricks. He played only on the right.

I'm genuinely shocked to think that someone who goes under the moniker of Gordons Cumming can forget the position Gordon Cumming played in.

Gordon Cumming was miles better than most of the blokes on that shortlist, but never mind. This is the 21st century.
