Coppell has said that he is still looking to get a plyer to replace Sidwell anyway, i.e a centre midfielder that get's beyond the front pairing so I wouldn't start discussing our centre midfield pairing until we know who all of our personel are on August the 12th.

People started figuring out the way we play down the wings toward the end of last season. Teams got very tight to our wide men and stifled them out of matches. We need more attacking options from the centre of the park, not less.

I'd say there was a much more obvious reason why our wide men were not quite as effective last season...

and if it involved teams putting a man on them all I can say is we should have taken more advantage of playing against 9 men if the opposition were man marking the occupants of our treatment room....

Surely now is exactly the time for debating how we may line up next season ? Come August 12th we'll know how Coppell will play things and discussion will be pointless....

He's not good enough on the ball for centre mid, no way. Cisse looks better imo. Still no better than Bryn or Harps.

Surely a bit hasty. He's only been training with us two weeks and had one game in very unusual circumstances - half-way round the world, unusual opposition, very mixed team selection. Give him a bit of time to find his bearings.
