 Is that a rhetorical question? I'm sure you can work it out, remember place of birth is not the be all and end all as is always discused on these pages when discussing player nationalities.

Hampshire Royal Born in Middlesbrough.

Moved to Reading when I was 15 and lived there for 5 years - just enough time to fall in love with RFC.

Joined the RAF and moved away.

Now living in Switzerland and working in Belfast.

What category does that put me in?

ps My children were born in Southend, have never lived in Reading and now live in Petersfield. Both are rabid Reading fans.

What category does that put them in?

Is Belfast a punishment HR or a pleasure?
Similar story with kids although one was born at Dellwood in Reading.
Two grandchildren are Reading fans although born in Bournemouth.

I wanted to vote, but there were none that I can pick.

Born outside UK(or currently so called EU), lived in Reading (for academic purpose), gone back to home country for work.

year, that's me.

I apologise Mr. Hiro! I'll note thats 1 for Japan is it?!
Does anyone know if I can add a poll option without it wiping the votes?

I was assuming that if you vote for Just like biscuits its really because you've lived in Reading at some point in your life. If you happened to be born elsewhere and then move away Reading later... well you're missing out enough already! Come back!

If anyones interested I was born in RBH and lived in Woodcote all my life, apart from a brief 4 year exile in Scotland with bankrupting trips to the Mad Stad. I thought hardly anyone would bother with this, or it would get booted from the team thread, shows its preseason...bring on Man U

Oh yeah and loving that League of Gentlemen pic, was exactly what I was thinking!

I don't think you can edit the poll once voting has started.....

Born at home just outside Sunninghill, and disturbingly close to the Surrey border. Reading was the big city for us, with (imagine!) a league football club - mind you, it was free to watch Ascot Utd.

Moved to Reading in '86, just in time for the glory days....

The first time I flew into Belfast, I was expecting to see bomb sites and burning cars. It's a vibrant city and you can't tell it apart from any mainland city, apart from the murals dotted around the place - which are actually quite artistic, and you can get tours around the place to see them. The people are extremely friendly - just don't take any sides on Norn Iron politics. The Guiness is better than it is in England!

Having said that, I took a week's holiday back home for the week of the 12th!!

Katie Marsden You're only a proper Reading if you were born IN the Royal Berks.

The rest of you are glory hunting out of towners.

Born at the Dellwood Nursing Home along Liebenrood Road, so really close to EP. Played QPR at home that weekend in September 56, but could not make my first game

Lived in Prince of Wales Avenue initially before Mum and Dad got a flat above Broad Street Chapel (now Waterstones). Moved to Bracknell when I was four. Moved to Dublin in 99 after brief stays in London and Nottingham, then the US in 2002.
