Dear oh dear - reading this thread in its entirety has left me shaking my head.
Its good to see that the Boos Brothers - Royalee, Royal rother, Top Flight and to a slightly lesser extent Hoop Blah are back in force after our outstanding draw against the champions.
Just a few points for you cheeky chappies to chew over.
It is possible for a player to play badly and be trying. you acknowledge that for Hughes but not for Seol. This is because Seol apparently doesnt 'look like he is trying hard enough'. So clearly if Seol grits his teeth, pours water over himself to give himself the appearance of sweating and goes RAAAAAAAAAAHHH every times he chases for the ball then that would mean he is trying and you would be on his side again. Why dont you just criticise Seol for his footballing performance - he just didnt play well - nothing to do with effort. when Seol plays well its not as thought it looks like he is trying any harder - its just that he beats his man.
Royal Rother feely admits to forming opinions quickly which reflect his views at any given moment. Thats fine, we all know the person who likes the sound of his own voice and steadfastly sets out views before the facts emerge - it makes for interesting (if ill informed) debate. However if you're going to make opinions on the hoof then you have to accept that more often than not those opinions will be incorrect because they have been made quickly in the absence of fact.
Royalee and Top Flight suffer from an ability to separate an attack on their views as an attack on their own (admittedly negative) personalities. They therefore stick to their vierws in the absence of any facts to bolster their opinions of them. I can gurantee that they will reading this post and shaking their heads and saying 'what the hell is he going on about' or 'he is totally wrong'. They are lost causes. unfortunately they are also reading fans who have got it into tehir heads that their criticism is somehow constructive.
Just chill lads.
