Sidwell is a Royals Legend!

I will definitely be clapping him!

As Coppell said, even when Sidwell knew he was going he still played his heart out for us! And you can't blame the man for accepting the challenge at Chelsea. The chance to win silverwear, the chance for Champions League Football, the chance to prove himself at the very highest level. You can't begrudge him that opportunity.

The fact that he played with 100% commitment every time he wore the shirt earns my respect! Sidwell is an absolute Royals legend.

I will be booing him pantomime style every time he touches the ball when the whistle blows though........... But before and after the game, he is a Royals legend!

I just hope the booing doesn't serve to motivate him though as it is a motivational method!

I'll applaud his name when it's read out. Other than that I won't treat him differently to any other opposition player.

We've still got Kitson, so I'll have to continue to pretend I like gingers.

Careful - talk like that may make you seem provincial.

He was an integral part of the spine of the team which became history makers and gave us all the happiness in our promotion system and last season.

anyone who boos is a newbie or a f*cking idiot.

Any real Royals fan who understands football or life in general will cheer him.

How many people on here would leave their job for double the money they currently earn???
