Coppell has 11 days to make up his mind whether Seol/Oster are good enough to replace Little.
Don't forget it was just a couple of weeks ago that the manager said that he might have to bring in another right-winger if Little shows no sign of recovering from his injury.
That implies to me that he is not convinced that either of these two is the answer.
I would suggest that after 3 games of fluctuating performances by both of them we may well see another player brought in-if not it spells out to me that the manager is now happy.
Incidentally long threads about players and their ability often leads to them leaving,e.g Jamie,Fozzy,Hughes,Sidwell etc but occasionally the trend is bucked e.g.Hunt.
The next few days will tell us whether any more Seol debates will dominate this board although his injury could stop a transfer before January.

For what it's worth I thought that by his own standards Seoul had a good game yesterday. He still made some poor passes and crosses, but not as many as usual. Plus also his work rate was improved.

never worked with any Sunderland fans then? Even more laughably optimistic than ours are pessimistic.

was surprised to see him ahead of the oyster
but the guy showed he is trying his heart out to make himself a success
worked as hard as most yesterday

again won headers and tackles, got in peoples faces and generally made a nuicance of himself
if all the slaggers cannot give credit when a player improves his game in the areas requested then they really arent worth listening too

much better yesterday, with and without the ball
im glad he is trying to stick it up em, the boy has some fight in him

after going back on my support of him last week, i will now confirm i am back behind him
im sure he will be releived to know!

with the coaches working on him like they have with sonko bikey ingimarson, hunt, little, convey, bryn delacruz
he can become as good as little in a few years, maybe, but i reckon he is worth eprsevering with

and im not listening to anyone who slags off him or my post

May I present Shorey, Little and possibly Convey. Unless of course Seol's crosses were unusually poor yesterday.

I heard about this thread whilst I was away last week. I am unsurprised to discover that it is Royal Rother who has posted such a ridiculous thread. Well done.

Just read the Daily Mail report on our game plus a bit from Marcus-my how how profile has risen with The Press.
The report was quite good and the ratings were interesting in that he gave Bikey9,Hunt8 and Seol............4 the same as their useless Anichebe.
Many of our posters seemed to think he had a good game but I think we are back to the Meaker Syndrome.
We become so used to moderate performances that anything just slightly better than moderate is pounced upon and suddenly some fans are calling it good.
The rating of 4 may be a bit harsh but for his overall impact on the game I would put him at best on 6 and possibly on 5.

Whatever his rating, I felt it was a big improvement on recent performances.

th edaily mail

such a paragon or reporting virtues

not sure i respect anything that paper says or does
he got plenty of good scores in the other paper

and i would rather trust the evidence of my own eyes, which showed him have an improved game in te area of workrate tracking back, tackling and generally getting stuck in and trying his heart out

thanks
