Please guys just STOP!!

I lost count of how many times that was said and saturday was the first time i've considered swapping broadcasters.

Please, please, please don't do it again. We all know how you're funded as we pay the frigging licence fee. And i'd like to listen to a match withouth losing my temper and swearing at the radio.

due the unique way i am funded, i sent in both answers to their trivial questions, Cid and bouncebackability, costing me 70p, and bugger all gets read out, lowering my credit to a scary level

Only 70p if your texts cost 35p each on your contract (reminder: there's no extra charge to text our programmes, after the fiasco that was the other thread on this).

It's tricky to get through all the texts sometimes especially if questions like bouncebackability get asked during the commentary, because we don't break into that with texts. Plus various people texted in to say bouncebackability isn't in the dictionary, when it actually is... (it's in at least one recognised dictionary.)

I'm going to text in and ask you to prove that allegation.

Dangerous Dan Davis from Taplow will text in to dispute whatever proof you may offer.

Larry the Lamb Lover from Bagshot will text in to point out that it does not appear in the French dictionary.

SpaceCruiser to text in the following week and point out that although he was unable to hear the show, he has since heard about the text sent by Larry and believes you should ban him from the show for mentioning the French.

Office Crabtree from Allo Allo will then text in to say "Eye hove groot respoct fleur thor Fronch heaving loved thar furr a noomburr of yars".

Mr Roy Smith will then text in to credit the French with the presevation of their historical cinema buildings and suggest that had Reading Borough Council followed their lead the pavements would now be paved with gold and war in Iraq would have been avoided.

Can I just echo this sentiment. Generally I like listening to Joel, but if he says this one more time I'm going to be seriously tempted to throw the radio into the Thames - or worse, tune to 107fm.
