On another thread That Friday Feeling RFC have obviously realised all the Korean shirt sales are lost to counterfeiters and have passed the copyright problems to Al-Fayed.

In return we get a good footballer.

Interesting that NH said West Ham made the bid a week ago and did not make another offer after that. I find it hard to understand that at £4 million it was a sensible bid. NH also described Rosenoir as a typical Reading player(or words to that effect)....he said that about Halford as well. He also sees Rosenoir as a midfielder/defender so the right wing theory may hold true although Doyle out wide and Lita/Kitson upfront as Platypus says offers an alternative.
I hope Seol does well at Fulham. He did not let us down.

Fayed is not stupid though, from todays EP:

Seol Ki Hyeon could also still be heading to Fulham today in a permanent deal.

Cottagers boss Lawrie Sanchez had not made an offer yesterday, but it is thought the club are keen to land him.

Fulham are sponsored by Korean-based LG Electronics and chairman Mohammed Al Fayed wants to land a player who is a superstar in his homeland.

No argument there. That's what the Peace Cup was all about. Financially Seol was good for us and as Squeaky's pointed out he was worth every penny on the pitch too.

True Friday, heres an interesting quote from Coleman in July 2006:

Thursday Jul 06 2006 09:44 Rosenior signs up
Fulham manager Chris Coleman has tipped Liam Rosenior to force his way in to the England team after the defender put pen to paper on a new four-year contract at Craven Cottage.

We'll quite clearly have England's first choice full back pairing in no time.

it'd be interesting to know how many shirts we sold in Korea. Given that I've heard that in Korea, (club) shirts sales aren't that high anyway, I'd bet it's a lot lower than people expect.

After all, we are bloody hopeless at getting shirts made to meet the home demand. I can't see us being organised enough to be shiping thousands off to Korea on a regular basis.

TV rights...sponsership....prime-time adverts etc etc....... in a developing financial mecca.......with folk with cash to burn

Just look at the ever increasing amount of S.Korean export cars on the road over here now (Hyundai, Kia etc)

Fulham will lose nothing

I went to the Fulham site to see how they described Rosenior in their squad profiles and it's already been updated with him gone and in with SKH, Murphy, Kuqi and the like!

Wonder how long it will take ours to catch up?

I'd rather have a crap website than a crap team.
