He managed TORQUAY twice but the second time was literally for a matter of hours as the club were taken over and the new board didn't want him.

Well chuffed with this bit of business.

Once our defensive masterminds work their magic on Rosenior he'll be a tremendous signing!! Have rated him for a while now, (largely because I stuck him in my fantasy team last year and ended up getting some good points), but I definitely think he'll bring more than Seol.

Seol, did us some good. His time came and went though and I wish him all the best cottaging he could want for.

Cheers Seol.

Welcome Liam, good choice son!

That Friday Feeling Fulham now saying Seol on a three year deal
Trebles (£) the shirt count in S.Korea
it'd be interesting to know how many shirts we sold in Korea. Given that I've heard that in Korea, (club) shirts sales aren't that high anyway, I'd bet it's a lot lower than people expect.

After all, we are bloody hopeless at getting shirts made to meet the home demand. I can't see us being organised enough to be shiping thousands off to Korea on a regular basis.
TV rights...sponsership....prime-time adverts etc etc....... in a developing financial mecca.......with folk with cash to burn

Just look at the ever increasing amount of S.Korean export cars on the road over here now (Hyundai, Kia etc)

Fulham will lose nothing

Ab seolutely
can you see what I did there

just to clear up my position on what i thought seol did or did not do for us,i believe he was a good player who showed this in the 1st few games, but it depends whether he wants to play like that, and for me all too often he did not and so he appeared disinterested on the pitch!

Drew_3 good buisness no money involved!just robbed sanchez i feel!
Fulham will "cash-in big time" on the shirt sales and exposure in S.Korea alone.

Thanks for the goals Seol

You dont believe for a second that all the reading shirts in S.korea are the genuine article do you?
You will be telling us next that they all use genuine copies of Windows Vista as well

I find it funny how Wolves fans were saying Seol was hot=cold. These posts compare well with those sentiments. Good luck Sanchez.

Rosenior is already on my FIFA team and is great!

Here's an old FourFourTwo interview: http://www.fourfourtwo.premiumtv.co.uk/ ... 40,00.html

Interesting that he has 9 As at GCSE and might have become a lawyer if it wasn't for football - seems a Coppell type of player.

I think we should wait and see on this transfer - its probably a good deal but I'd like to reserve judgement until I see him play. Definitely better buy than Halford however.

My ticker tape and bunting is reserved for the fact that Shorey stays!

So happy Shorey stays.

On the Rosenior-Seol switch - time will tell. Fulham have certainly got a technically brilliant player who has the ability to execute crosses and shots when the opportunity falls. Seol's lack of defensive nous and covering will be replaced by Roseniors excellent ability to track runs and stick a foot in. My doubt is whether he can provide quality when going forward but he is another energetic player which I am happy to see as I think it is possibly the largest thing we have going for us.

Rouge rating - good.

Sensible deal for both clubs and Seol.Obviously time wll tell how LR settles in our squad but Fulham get their South Korean er superstar and Seol gets his chance to re establish himself after his backward sliding career at the madhouse.
Although he made a few appropriate noises in the summer about knowing he needs to up his work rate to warrent his teamplace I cant help feeling this was perhaps just spin and that he is a tad up his own arse and believes the hype by over fawning devotees in his own country and that he has some devine right to be first on the teamsheet. That plus hes a lazy git.

Anyone got any idea how the Fulham fans feel about this deal? I'd be pretty pissed if I was a Fulham fan... But then I've seen Seal play recently and not seen Rosenior apart from a bit in the U21's.

PEARCEY Interesting that NH said West Ham made the bid a week ago and did not make another offer after that. I find it hard to understand that at £4 million it was a sensible bid. NH also described Rosenoir as a typical Reading player(or words to that effect)....he said that about Halford as well. He also sees Rosenoir as a midfielder/defender so the right wing theory may hold true although Doyle out wide and Lita/Kitson upfront as Platypus says offers an alternative.
I hope Seol does well at Fulham. He did not let us down.

Has JM done the bit about how this deal shows ambition and that we mean business yet?

Also can we nickname Mr RoSENIOR Trevor? Otherwise it would get confusing what with Lita also being called Leroy (no I couldn't have handled Dennis M and Dennis G Butler back in the 70s).

We effectively got Rosenoir to replace Halford. If Halford, who was (and still is) unproven as a Premiership player, is worth £2-3m, then Rosenoir must be worth £4-6m.

Seol, on the other hand, cost us £1m, and, discounting for Korean shirt sales, he probably isn't worth more than £1m. So, this looks like damn good business by Squeaky and the gang.
