Schards#2 Woodcote Royal When have we ever sold out against Wigan?
Last seasons attendance 21954
I'm told we sold out every
HOME TICKET for every home league game last season.
We already haven't for the last two and i'm pretty certain we wont for the next two.
The size of the away support at the Mad Stad is utterly irrelevent to this discussion.
Oh, and didn't the manager of the ticket office say something about how much harder it was to sell tickets this year. You'd better put him right Woodcote and tell him demand hasn't actually fallen, unless of course, you are the only person left on the planet who still believes this.
We were always going to lose some of those who created the stampede before our first season in the top flight but now some of those are starting to fall away we can get to work on a catchment area that is the envy of most clubs in the land.
Getting rid of this charge will be a major step in the right direction but it won't create a sell out against Wigan.
I sometimes wonder if they hand out blinkers to everyone who enters the East Stand but there really is a big wide world out there that knows we are here and will be drawn by bigger attractions than Wigan.
With so many STH's, no gate next week will serve as proof that the ground should not be expanded to at least 30k and I will be amazed if this first stage doesn't take place even if we're relegated.
We have corporate hospitality so stacked out that offices are being converted to accommodate those happy to spend £2,000+ for a seat at the world's richest league and this will expand into the East as soon as it's ready.
Meanwhile, the South stand can revert to an all away facility if demand really sinks to the levels envisaged by shortsighted fans like your self.
As I said, this remains a no-brainer for all of those with half a grip on the potential now at this clubs disposal.
