Chaney I can see the Wigan game being a dreary game on and off the pitch, they will bring 500 max and there will be big gaps in the home stands, probably 19,000 now that alot of the plastics are starting to lose interst again

Apparently we've sold all the season tickets.

I expect around 21,500

I am not embarassed about not going to Sunderland.

Take your pick:

Chilling out for a weekend > travelling 270 miles
Spending £50 odd on a night out > spending £150 odd on an away day to Sunderland
Listening to pub background music > listening to blarmy sung at 750bpm

I was working on the assumption that after that performance, I either wouldn't want to come home or would have assumed Sunderland fan status.

200-300 tops! I could understand the 150 or so for the midweek cup match at Swansea but for a weekend league fixture, crunch match too, I think its shocking. Just hope that our fans make the effort for the short trip down the M3 next week!

Believe it or not it took less time travelling up the M1/A1M to Sunderland than it did to travel to those clubs around the M6.

Who cares? And no I didn't go, and on reflection am convinced I made the correct decision on this occasion.
