Aldershot fans > Reading fans.

Yes, very good - those Reading fans are mere kids whilst the Shots fans looked like grown adults to me

frimleygreen_shotspur aldershot seem in control against an ex league side tonight. i wonder should the'shots ever get promoted from the non league structure wether they would survive.

You'd need bigger crowds than you are getting now. Could Aldershot ever aspire to attracting many more supporters than they get these days? Perhaps you might even start going, FGS 8) . I am sure they could manage 3,000+ crowds in League 2. Good luck to them I say, I am a big fan of The Rec as a footballing venue.

paultheroyal Back to back wins for Basingstoke - might be some hope after all.

Never mind that, the real local quality in the Conference South can be found on my walk home from work at York Road, Maidenhead 8). Last minute equaliser tonight - and an absolute belter it was too - gave Maidenhead the point they deserved at the very least against Cambridge City having earlier been denied by the crossbar and two amazing goal-line saves within a second of each other. Slow start to the season, but survival at this level would be a real achievement for such a small club who are lucky to have a terrific manager in Johnson Hippolyte; there will be less talented managers currently occupying managerial posts in league football.

Francis Vines at Basingstoke - fans view is very split on him.

Cracking game between Histon and Torquay - Torquay stole it in the dying seconds to win 4:5

My mate plays for Hampton and they have Basingstoke away in a couple of weeks.

They had 10 men on saturday and beat Eastleigh 3-1 and tonight they travel to Bishops Stortford and get done 6-2 with 11.

Torquay were 3-0 up at half time. Had a man sent off on 70 and conceded two penalties in the last 8 minutes.

Belting game.

Torquay were 3-0 up at half time. Had a man sent off on 70 and conceded two penalties in the last 8 minutes.

Belting game.

The game delayed for 30 minutes because of an overturned lorry.

Torquay were forced into two subs in the first half due to injury. One is assumed a broken leg and the other hamstring (i believe). Playing a pretty much retired Left Winger as CB. Make another forced sub a minute into second half because of a suspected hamstring one picked up for the first half and attempted to play through pain. Torquay will be lucky to fill subs for next match, seems like last season all over again. Hopefully they can get some loans in fast.

The sending off was soft and the two penatly were dubious. It was not a dirty game at all. I believe the sending off was for flailing arms. Both were ball to hand penatlys within minutes of each other. Basically Histon shooting rockets into a mob of Torquay players and happened to bounce off a hand. Histon took down one of the Torquay players and was a pretty easy penatly to give, but the quality of refeering was horrible all season.

Torquay play away to Kidderminster in a few days, and would be worth a punt to bet on a Harriers win.

g The game delayed for 30 minutes because of an overturned lorry.

On the pitch?

I also would like to mention that Oxford United are a non-league club.
