Winchester Royal Huntley & Palmer Of course it has, most people that wanted to go to the games managed to get a ticket last season. AST sales were around the 1000 mark I believe last season, I'd imagine a large percentage of those people did not renew (I didn't) as they had been to all the grounds they wanted to go to. Our allocations were not filled in all cases anyway, there were a large number where they were not even close to being filled. RFC have never had a huge away following in any league, unless we are doing well. Same goes for the home support
I thought the point of away games was to have a day out on the piss, get behind the team and have a laugh, not simply to tick off a box.
Please correct me if I'm wrong?
Bit of both mate
It's the cost, Football isn't worth what we are charged inthe Premiership, extortianate to the limit. £34 to watch Portsmouth v Reading??? You have got to be joking.
Last season had no other commitments, spending money on RFC was the only thing i spent money on, also having been to all the CCC grounds and most of Leagues 1 and 2, it was the chance to tick off all the Premiership grounds. Which i've done.
The days of me spending my saturday travelling up and down the country spending 3 figures a time to watch football are very much over.
