Yup. Literally a stones throw huh. Grew up watching bits from the window and occasionally being taken into the games by customers.

Pen shootout in the Simod Cup semis....... I'm sure I remember watching from my living room! (could be mistaken as to the match as it was nearly 20yrs ago obviously!)

The only thing plastic about RFC in those days were the seats the moaners sat on in the Norfolk road stand. I am so glad the huge majority of my time supporting RFC has been spent in the south-bank and not a souless shiny arena.

Some were plastic, some were wooden. My Mum and Dad have got some of the plastic ones in their back garden which they bought in the auction.

legendary, remember having my mate on my shoulders at the last game against norwich nabbing the bad language and gestures sign in the south bank. he's still got it on his wall.

One of my first games, we went with a New Zealander who was used to slightly more upmarket stadia.

He went to get half-time grub asking if anyone else wanted a hotdog.

He came back with a mars bar and a cup of bovril and spent 20 minutes asking how anyone could drink gravy.
