John Madejski's Wallet Have to say, he may have overhit some passes and such but i'm well impressed by Long's first touch and turning on the ball

Shame his second is then almost invariably absolute toilet.

Liverpool defecne looks a bit dozy and the game looks set up for Kitson TBH.

What made Benayoun's goal look good was that Fed decided to have a little lie-down. If he's stayed on his feet he could well have saved it.

Halls looks very suspect but has put in the best crosses so far.

Lita looks hungry and going about things th erught way - awful miss from the header though.

Faé and Harper look like they have the beginnings of a useful midfield partnership.

Agree with all of that - except the bad spelling

Long's problem is that his decisions are almost invariably wrong - when he should pass he shoots, when he should pass he falls over, when he should shoot, he stumbles ....

IMO, that first bit is probably right but he's not as bad as that.

There's *something* there but there is also *something* missing from his game.

And he's how old? With how many years experience behind him? Give him a chance FFS.

Long is 20, one year younger than Wayne Rooney.

Do they drug our players at halftime or something?

Bikey and Doobs won't see the end of this game unless Torres comes off

How far up the Scouse arses can the Sky commentary team get?

Birtles is an absolute twat! Sees everything against them and nothing that they commit.

Most laughable comment was the suggestion that we should have laid off his boyfriend Torres because he got injured (in a completely fair challenge) in the first minute!

I agree he is a bit OTT in the commentary, but our boys are putting in some rather 'agricultural' challenges in.

No doubt if Torres had gone off injured a Scouse equivalent of that pratt Holt would have castigated Bikey for his highly dangerous tackle in the first half.

Just waiting for them to claim Lita was offside again!
