Should be an interesting game between Cambridge and Aldershot tomorrow night. Second game in a row Cambridge (the only undefeated team in the Conference) will be playing the team at the top. Cambridge fan in the office said they played really well against Stevenage - could Jimmy Quinn's boys do it again to knock Aldershot off?

Matt Robinson goes back to Oxford tonight for Salisbury. Be interesting to know what reception he will get.

Salisbury have had a great start to life in the conference.

Remember refereeing them against Kings Lynn a few years back in the Doc Martens league. They have come on so far. Also at their old rec ground - played on a slope you would not believe for that standard of football.

Cambridge and Aldershot draw
Forest Green beat Stevenage 4-2
Torquay beat Weymouth 3-2, coming back twice to win it.

Torquay top of the league!! (after twelve games played)

1 Torquay 29
2 Aldershot 28
3 Cambridge Utd 26
4 Stevenage 25
5 Burton Albion 25
6 Salisbury 21
7 Crawley Town 20
8 Exeter 19
9 Oxford Utd 19

Hate to say it, but the Cambridge supporter in our office said 'Shots played them off the park last night, and he was surprised it took them until late in the game to get the equaliser.

Jason Bowen is on fire for Newport this season in Conf South - his fourth season there and basically he has got better year on year. Think he's 34 now.

With this sort of improvement he'll only be 586 before he's good enough for a Championship side to take a chance on him.

So calling a team that spent 80 odd years in it 'failures' is surely a bit wrong?!
