Shorey...

by Shaka's Giant Hands » 11 Oct 2007 07:10

...set to start for England on Saturday. Ashley Cole will be rested and take over the number 3 shirt on Wednesday night.

That is all.

Uh-oh. More inflated delusions on the way.

Apparently Cashley Hole is one yellow card short of a ban as well.

He's coped with the west ham stuff fine for the last 4 years, I don't see why anything should change now. He's just suffering a dip in form like the rest of the team. All players do sometimes.

If he goes i'd expect a large amount of money for him. Young England international with premiership experience. More than a year left on his contract I believe.? Lovely jubbly.

I did.

He hasn't... yet.

(I still doubt he'll play many games for England, unless Cashley, Bridge and Phil Neville all get long-term injuries. I mean, McLaren would probably play Carragher over there, if he could, before Shorey. Fine by me if he doesn't play, one less chance for him to get injured.)

Delighted if he does start for England in a competitive match...he is still a Reading player and whilst not at his best is not making loads of errors...just a bit out of form. He has been a terrific player for the club and has been at Reading a long time. Whether he stays or goes I wish him well.

Shorey is a Legend!

I hope Shorey does get selected for England. That should add a few more pounds to his resale value!

...or it will now cost us even more to re-sign him to a new deal...which we should have done a while back. Don't be fooled, though, we always do things the right way.

I hope if Shorey starts, so does Downing. Or he'll have another fun game doing nothing, never getting passed to and being blamed for not being able to cope with two or three attackers on his own.

Very noticeable that Joe Cole never passes to Shorey
